ST.PAUL, Minn. -- The battle between risk and reward has been playing out on the ice for the Stars all season, and Tuesday was a prime example.
Dallas made bad decisions and allowed two breakaway goals early, but then got two goals back when defensemen took risks and pushed down into the offensive zone. Add to that the third overtime winner for defenseman John Klingberg, and risk seemed to win out in a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Wild
"A big part of our game is activating our D, it always has been," Stars coach Lindy Ruff said.
