Going over the edge, physicality ends up being Stars' downfall in OT loss at home

The edge is a wonderful and dangerous place for a hockey player and a hockey team, but it's also the place where Antoine Roussel makes a living.

Roussel might have gone too far over the edge Thursday in the Stars' 4-3 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Kings at American Airlines Center.

Roussel took 18 minutes in penalties, and missed much of the second period when the Stars were scrambling to find replacements for injured forwards Patrick Sharp (concussion-like symptoms) and Patrick Eaves (lower body). And while the Kings did not score on any of the power plays that resulted from Roussel's antics, it was clear the game was affected.
