Dallas Stars Daily Links: Jiri Hudler Will “Fit Right In” with Stars, Says Jim Nill

No one really thought Jim Nill was done making moves, right? On Wednesday, the Stars signed forward Jiri Hudler to a one-year, $2 million deal. Mike Heika, for one, says acquiring Hudler will be valuable to the team.

Hudler signed a bargain-basement one-year deal with Dallas. He'll get half of what Ales Hemsky will make, almost half of what Cody Eakin will make, and $200,000 less than what Antoine Roussel will make. Hudler last season in 73 games with Calgary and Florida tallied 46 points (16 goals, 30 assists). That would have put him fifth on the Stars.
