Now that Trevor Daley has left the Dallas Stars there’s an opening for an alternate captain. The question is: which player should get the “A” on his jersey?
While it’s not the most significant change the Stars have on their plate, it’s something that holds a lot of meaning in a locker room. The way I see it, there are a few obvious options based on leadership currently in the locker room.

Goligoski has been a Dallas Stars defenseman since he was traded from the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2011. He’s shown immense leadership ability during a rather tough era of Dallas Stars hockey.
