Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans defeated the Ontario Reign by a 2-1 score on Tuesday night to extend the series to a 7th Game on Wednesday night in Allen.
After a scoreless opening period, the Americans jumped on the board in the second, scoring the first goal for the first time since Game 1, as Greger Hanson deflected one in off of Ontario defenseman Matt Register for a 1-0 Allen lead. The goal came shortly after an Americans power play had expired. Ontario had a slight advantage in shots, 21-16 after the two periods of play.
