Game 41: Mavs at Bulls

Bidding for a third straight win for the first time this season, the Mavericks (13-27) will try to build on last Thursday’s 113-108 victory over Phoenix in Mexico City and Sunday’s 98-87 home win over Minnesota. The Mavs will also try to continue their balanced offensive attack after six scorers reached double figures in each of the last two games. And after routing the Bulls (21-21) the first time the two teams met during a 107-82 home win on Dec. 3, the Mavericks will step into the United Center on Tuesday night with plenty of confidence.

“Starts are key for us, and we got a pretty good start scoring-wise in Phoenix as well,” swingman Wesley Matthews said after leading the Mavs to Sunday’s win with 19 points on 7-of-15 shooting and 4 of 8 from three-point range.
