The Mavericks will be without Devin Harris for at least three weeks, Rick Carlisle said at the team’s shootaround on Wednesday.
Harris will be in a walking boot for those three weeks with a right big toe sprain, and will be reevaluated at the end of it. The hope is he will be cleared to play afterwards, but that is not guaranteed. The Mavericks play 10 games between now and Nov. 16, which is the duration of that three-week span.
The injury puts a small strain on the Mavericks’ ball-handling guards.
