After some injuries to their back court veterans, Dallas was forced to dip their toes into the D-League this past season where they called up Yogi Ferrell for a 10-day contract.
Ferrell would play the next four games and lead the Mavericks to a 4-0 record over that span including a 32 point game against Portland.
Shortly after that, Ferrell would sign a multi-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks with a team option for the 2017-18 season for around $1.3 million.
Now, on June 24th, the Dallas Mavericks have decided what to do with that team option on Ferrell’s contract.
