The Dallas Mavericks couldn’t make things work with mid-season acquisition Rajon Rondo, and as such are in the market for a replacement to run the show with Chandler Parsons, Dirk Nowitzki, and new Mavericks DeAndre Jordan and Wesley Matthews.
One of the limited options out there was restricted free agent Patrick Beverley of the rival Houston Rockets. That was until he reached an agreement with Houston to stay with the team. Yahoo’s Adrian Wojonarowski broke the news:
