Rookie CB Chidobe Awuzie getting championship feel from Cowboys defense

OXNARD, Calif. -- Rookie cornerback Chidobe Awuzie intercepted three passes over his last two seasons at Colorado. He's already picked off two in the Cowboys' first two training camp practices in pads.

The second round pick tipped up a Dak Prescott pass before intercepting it in individual drills Wednesday. He hauled in a Kellen Moore pass during team drills Thursday. (It appeared Moore was taking a shot downfield after the defense was flagged for being offside.)

"He certainly was a playmaker [in college]," Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said. "They used him a lot of different ways and he was always around the ball.
