On Day 3, Cowboys know plenty of work remains

FRISCO, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys had one of their best drafts in recent memories in 2016 not because they drafted Ezekiel Elliott with the fourth overall pick, although that didn’t hurt.

The draft is considered one of the best because they selected Dak Prescott in the fourth round and Anthony Brown in the sixth round, in addition to Maliek Collins in the third round.

It will be considered even better if Charles Tapper -- who was selected in the fourth round before Prescott, the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2016 -- can develop into a top pass-rusher after missing his rookie season because of a back injury.
