High school games at The Star have Jason Garrett recalling fond memory

FRISCO, Texas -- When the Dallas Cowboys and Frisco started talking about a partnership in a football facility, owner and general manager Jerry Jones pictured Tony Romo walking off the field while one of the high school quarterbacks was walking on and the two exchanging ideas.

The timing might not make that possible, but The Ford Center at The Star, the Cowboys’ new home, will host The Star Kickoff, a quadruple-header between eight Frisco high schools, today at 10 a.m. ET.

The 12,000-seat stadium is sold out and two of the four games will be broadcast on ESPNU and NFL Network.
