Dallas Cowboys: Nolan Carroll charged with DWI

The Dallas Cowboys seem snakebit when it comes to their players having off-the-field problems that in turn hurt their on-the-field status. Just last week, it was reported that defensive lineman David Irving could be facing a four-game suspension for allegedly violating the league’s performance enhancing drug policy.

On Monday, the news got worse for the Cowboys defense. According to the Dallas Morning News, veteran cornerback Nolan Carroll was arrested early Monday morning on a charge of suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The Cowboys signed the 30-year old veteran to a three-year, $10 million contract back in March.
