IRVING, Texas – The Dallas Cowboys got to know Dak Prescott extremely well this offseason.
They met with him at the Senior Bowl and saw him win the game’s MVP against them. They met with him at the NFL scouting combine. Quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson went to Starkville, Mississippi, to work him out privately. A few weeks ago he visited the Cowboys’ Valley Ranch facility and met with more coaches.
He had already known them, growing up a Cowboys fan
“This means everything,” Prescott said. “It’s been something I’ve dreamed about. I was acting like I was the Cowboys quarterback my whole life so for it all to come true it’s such a blessing.
