Dallas Cowboys add depth, sign a pair of linebackers

OXNARD, Calif. — The Cowboys signed two linebackers after waiving a pair of injured players Monday. Linebacker Ka’Lial Glaud and Jonathan Brown were added after the team bid farewell to Justin Anderson and offensive lineman Reshod Fortenberry. Anderson hurt his ankle and Fortenberry his left knee.

Brown hasn’t appeared in an NFL regular-season game, although he had stints on the practice squads for Chicago and Arizona. Glaud played in seven games for Tampa Bay in 2013 and spent time on the Buccaneers’ practice squad last year.

The Cowboys needed reinforcements at linebacker. Right now, rookie Mark Nzeocha and veteran Rolando McClain aren’t practicing as they recover from surgeries.
