OXNARD, Calif. – The Dallas Cowboys decided to give former defensive end Charles Haley the microphone to begin their training camp opening ceremony Saturday.
The unpredictable Haley answered questions from Cowboys radio play-by-play voice Brad Sham in front of fans at the training camp facility before the club’s first practice in pads.
Sham asked Haley what he’s doing to get ready for his Hall of Fame speech next Saturday in Canton, Ohio.
“I’m just shaving my head because I’m already beautiful,” Haley said.
Sham: “How about your speech? You worked on your speech?”
Haley: “I think so.
