Asked about Jeremy Mincey between practices Saturday, executive vice president Stephen Jones said the defensive end had to be in camp to factor into the Cowboys plans.
He was in Oxnard before the day was done.
The holdout isn’t over yet. As Brandon George reports in his blog post, a source said that Mincey will meet with Jones and head coach Jason Garrett Sunday to first discuss a two-year deal.
But it appears this brief holdout could soon be resolved.
“We respect Jeremy and he had a great year for us last year,’’ Jones said.
