Cowboys Rumors: Dallas Considering Trade For Bills RB C.J. Spiller?

As the NFL Trade Deadline approaches, reports have begun swirling about the Bills' C.J. Spiller as a trade target. Buffalo has grown impatient with their starting running back, and it appears they are ready to move on from him if a potential deal fits.

According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Dallas may be a frontrunner for Spiller:

Dallas could use a complimentary back to DeMarco Murray, who leads the NFL in rushing yards (756) but has racked up 159 carries through six games.

Spiller could fill the role of passing down back, as well as receive the occasional carry or two.

Considering the going rate on players like Percy Harvin, Dallas could probably snag Spiller for a 4th or 5th round pick.

The trade deadline is October 28th.
