With the 60th overall pick in the NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys have drafted Randy Gregory out of Nebraska.
Position: Defensive End
Measurables: 6’5”, 235 lbs, 34” arm length, 10” hands
Analysis:
Gregory scared off a lot of teams with a positive drug test at the NFL Combine, but he has as much talent as any pass rusher in the draft. NFL teams would like to see him add 15-20 pounds of muscle because his lack of strength translated into numerous injuries during his college career. Gregory also needs to work on his technique, but he has elite explosiveness and quickness that you can’t teach.
