Gareth Southgate will hold talks with Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha in an effort to persuade him not to commit his international future to Ivory Coast.
Newly-appointed England manager Southgate was at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon to see the exciting winger play against Southampton.
Zaha has two England caps, both won under Roy Hodgson, but hasn’t played in a competitive international yet making him eligible to play for another nation.
The 24-year-old was born in the Ivory Coast before moving to south London as a four-year-old making him eligible for his country of birth.
