Sam Allardyce has confirmed Crystal Palace are close to completing the signing of Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson.
Jenkinson, who joined the Gunners from Charlton in 2011, has failed to become a first-team regular under Arsene Wenger.
The right-back has been loaned to West Ham for the past two seasons and has made just one appearance for Arsenal this term since returning to the Emirates.
The 22-year-old will now look to kickstart his career under Allardyce, whom he played under at West Ham.
"I think there are negotiations between the chairman and the agent, but we appear to have an agreement with Arsenal," said Palace boss Allardyce.
