SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Creighton women's tennis team picked up a 5-2 victory over Missouri State on Friday afternoon at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Mo.
The Bluejays improved to 3-4 this season while snapping a three-match losing skid. The Bears fell to 4-5.
Friday's match was Creighton's first of three matches in the state of Missouri this weekend as the Bluejays will play Central Arkansas tomorrow morning in Springfield before traveling to St. Joseph's to play Missouri Western State on Sunday morning.
