WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Creighton softball team opened the BIG EAST schedule with a split during a doubleheader against Georgetown at Guy Mason Field in Washington, D.C. The Hoyas defeated the Bluejays 5-2 in the first game before Creighton claimed an 11-6 win in the second.
Creighton is now 10-17 overall and 1-1 in BIG EAST play, while Georgetown is 8-18 and 1-1 in league play.
