OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton softball team scored two runs during the bottom of the seventh, but Nebraska secured a 5-4 victory on a cold, windy and rainy night at the Creighton Sports Complex on Tuesday night.
The Bluejays fell to 18-25 overall, while Nebraska improved to 21-25.
Trailing 5-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Sam Dellinger hit a one-out double to right field to put one on base for designated player Anna O'Gorman. O'Gorman lifted a 1-0 pitch over the right-center field wall for a two-run homer to make it 5-4 in the last of the final frame.
