The #10 Creighton men’s basketball team took their undefeated record into Saturday night’s game at the CenturyLink Center with another target on their back. Akron gave the Jays their biggest challenge of the season. In the end, Creighton keeps their record unblemished with an 82-70 win against the Zips.
Marcus Foster led the way with 27 points and Maurice Watson, Jr., finished the night with a double-double scoring 14 points and a building record 14 assists in the victory. Cole Huff put in 16 points of his own while Justin Patton also chipped in 11 against Akron.
