Indianapolis, Ind. -- Fifth-year senior wanted nothing more than to bookend her career with conference championships, behind her 27 points the Creighton women's basketball team did just that with a 67-53 win over Butler on Sunday, Feb. 26.
Creighton's victory clinched a share of the BIG EAST regular season title for the Bluejays at 16-2 in conference play (22-6 overall). The Bluejays closed the season in a tie with No. 19 DePaul.
Creighton enters the BIG EAST Tournament next week as the No. 2 seed, the Bluejays opponent has not yet been determined.
