Wil Trapp receives US National Team call up

Wil Trapp will be spending January in California after U.S. Men’s head coach Bruce Arena called the Columbus Crew SC midfielder into his winter training camp. Trapp has played extensively with youth national teams, including the U-20 and the Olympic qualifying squad. He has two caps with the senior team.

The camp begins on January 10th and extends through the entire month. The USMNT will play two friendlies to finish off the camp. The first is against Serbia on January 29th in San Diego. They then head east to Chattanooga on February 3rd to face Jamaica.

Crew SC begins training camp on January 23rd with physicals and testing in Columbus before immediately heading to São Paolo, Brazil for the first part of training camp.
