Crew SC midfielder Wil Trapp received his third call-up to the United States men’s national team and will participate in its January camp, the club announced Thursday.
Trapp, 23, was one of 32 Major League Soccer players named to the roster. He played significant minutes for the United States Under-23 team during its qualifying for the 2016 Olympics. He also made 15 appearances with the U-20 national team.
Trapp, from Gahanna, is one of 12 midfielders on the roster for the January camp. The camp begins Tuesday in Carson, California, at the National Training Center and concludes with exhibitions against Serbia on Jan.
