Columbus Crew SC has filled out their preseason plans, adding a Brazil based camp with São Paulo FC according to ESPN FC Brazil’s Gustavo Zupak.
Crew SC will travel to Sau Paulo for training from January 26th through February 8th. Crew SC has already committed to the Carolina Challenge Cup beginning on February 18th throught the 25th.
Gregg Berhalter reportedly sealed the deal last week in a meeting with São Paulo officials, but work had been underway with Crew SC’s International Consultant Ricardo Moriera taking the lead in the negotiations.
Crew SC will train at São Paulo’s facilities and play Audax and Ituano.
