Columbus Blue Jackets ICYMI: Artemi Panarin Picks #9

The Columbus Blue Jackets newest sniper and hopefully newest All-Star has his new number. Artemi Panarin is going with #9 for this season.

Panarin of course wore #72 in his time with the Chicago Blackhawks. That number was taken by a guy you might have heard of, Sergei Bobrovsky.

Why #9? Because MATH!!! 7+2=9 so of course he is wearing number nine this season. The news was announced by his agent on Twitter.

Artemi Panarin will wear #9 (7+2). His old #72 in Columbus is taken by friend Sergei Bobrovsky

Panarin jerseys are going to be one of the most, if not the most popular jersey for the CBJ this season.
