At least two Columbus Blue Jackets will be in Las Vegas this summer for the NHL Award presentations. And these two are not surprising at all.
Sergei Bobrovsky was named a finalist for the Vezina Trophy although he didn’t play like it during the playoffs. Bob will join Montreal’s Carey Price and Washington’s Braden Holtby as the three finalist. The title of top net-minder in the league for 2016-2017 will not suspenseful. Bob will win the Vezina for the second time in his career.
Although there is a great case to be made for Bob for the Hart Trophy, he has an solid chance of being a nominee.
