COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets invite the team’s female fans to learn more about the game, the rules and the lifestyle of NHL hockey with a special “Hockey ‘n’ Heels” event before the Jackets host the Edmonton Oilers at Nationwide Arena on Friday, March 4.
The event, presented by Meyers Jewelers, begins at 4:30 p.m. with a pre-game cocktail reception and program featuring a diverse lineup of team representatives and special guests who will offer their unique perspectives and take questions. Speakers scheduled to appear include FOX Sports Ohio analyst/Blue Jackets team ambassador Jody Shelley along with Scioto Downs Blue Jackets Radio Network play-by-play announcer Bob McElligott, Blue Jackets Goaltending Coach Ian Clark and the four-man crew of NHL referees and linesmen working the game.
