Running back Marvin Kinsey out for season with torn ACL

Mike Bobo will be without one of his three go-to running backs in the Idaho Potato Bowl. Freshman Marvin Kinsey announced via Twitter that he will miss the remainder of the 2016 season with a torn ACL.

The 6-1, 190-pound back from Atlanta came to Colorado State after receiving offers from Georgia Southern, Utah State and Tulane. Though the freshman spent much of his time behind veterans Izzy Matthews and Dalyn Dawkins, Kinsey flashed his potential throughout the 2016 campaign.

Kinsey played in all 12 games, carrying the ball 93 times for 566 yards and seven touchdowns.
