For the first two days, the Mountain West went ignored in the NFL Draft. Finally on day three, a rush of names from the conference was called, but for the first time in four seasons, none of them played for Colorado State.
By the end of Saturday, one Ram had definitely earned a shot to continue his dream of playing professionally as linebacker Kevin Davis signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Los Angeles Rams.
He called Saturday a rather intense experience, but in the end, he has the shot he wanted.
"It got a little tough at the end, and I kept waiting to see," Davis said.
