Hard work paying off for Colorado State running backs

Camp Notes

Colorado State started spring camp with limited numbers in the secondary, and they took a hit Saturday when cornerback Shun Johnson injured his right shoulder during an early tackling drill.

He was helped taken off the field on a cart, and when he returned, he was fitted with a sling and out of pads.

Johnson finished last season second on the depth chart and played in all 13 games. He had 10 tackles on the season with two pass breakups, and this spring was viewed as valuable for his development.
