Colorado State senior quarterback Nick Stevens was named to the Manning Award Watch List on Wednesday, the second such preseason honor he has received.

Earlier this summer, he landed on the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, both focusing on naming the top collegiate quarterback.

Stevens played in 10 games in 2016, finishing his season in a flurry. He hit on 129 of 201 attempts on the year, throwing for 1,936 yards and 19 touchdowns against just five interceptions, two of which came in the opener. He regained his starting role against Boise State, throwing 14 touchdowns in the final seven games and completing better than 70 percent of his passes.
