Colorado State's offensive numbers were among the best in the nation last year, thanks to an explosive finish. Here's what the Rams will be trying to surpass this season:

Red-zone offense — 4th nationally. 50 scores (42 touchdowns) in 53 opportunities

Sacks allowed — T8th, 1.0 per game and just one the final six games

Passing efficiency — 12th, at 157.04, measuring completions, yardages, TDs and interceptions.

Turnovers lost — T15th, 15 all season, down from 27 in 2016

Tackles for loss allowed — T16th, 4.
