FORT COLLINS — Colorado State's trio of productive backs will be down to two for the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl as true freshman Marvin Kinsey Jr. sustained a torn ACL during Saturday's practice, head coach Mike Bobo confirmed.

Kinsey had announced his injury on Twitter during the day, saying: "Sad to say my season has come to an end, due to a torn ACL. This is only a minor setback for a major come back . #RamNation."

A true freshman out of Atlanta, he sits third on the Rams depth chart and leaders, rushing for 546 yards on 93 carries and seven touchdowns.
