Colorado State football picks up verbal from Georgia wideout MarQuese Taylor

Colorado State football picked up a verbal commitment Thursday from Georgia wide receiver MarQuese Taylor, who announced his choice via Twitter.

Taylor, listed at 5-foot-11, 169 pounds, is a three-star target out of Lovejoy High School, according to Scout.com. He had 28 receptions in nine games as a senior for 574 yards and nine touchdowns.

Taylor is the 17th verbal commit the Rams have received, one of whom, tight end Griffin Hammer, is already signed and on campus. CSU also signed a pair of offensive linemen in December (Ben Knox and Tyler Bjorklund), as well as Tennessee transfer wideout Preston Williams.
