Colorado State football on verge of picking up transfer safety from Utah

Andy Cross / THE DENVER POST)

Colorado State may have added some depth to the secondary as former Utah player Jordan Fogal announced on social media he is headed to Fort Collins to pursue a Masters degree while playing for the Rams.

Colorado State cannot comment on players until they have signed a financial aid agreement or a national letter of intent. Last year the Rams added Paul Thurston and Faton Bauta as graduate transfers, with Thurston starting in nine of 13 games.

Fogal started at the College of San Mateo, then transferred to Utah and appeared in three games in 2015 before an injury cut his season short.
