Colorado State football has options at fullback

FORT COLLINS — When Adam Prentice went down with an ACL injury at the end of fall camp last year, Colorado State coach Mike Bobo was a bit distraught.

He had lost a player who had secured the fullback spot, and the team had come to depend on him in that role. With Prentice lost for the season, Bobo and his offensive staff had to go back to the drawing board and find solutions, which meant using Nolan Peralta in the role once again, instead of leaving him solely in his natural spot of tight end.

A year later, Prentice is not only back, but Bobo feels there is competition at the spot, opening up additional possibilities for his offensive groupings.
