FORT COLLINS — Removing the rust and keeping the timing intact were important Friday, especially with Colorado State's football team returning to the field for the first time in six days. Head coach Mike Bobo had a more definitive message in mind for his team.

The extra practice time in Bobo's estimation — and the Rams won't get in all 15 allowed by rule — is a chance to continue the trend of improving and finishing the season the right way.
