Entering the 2016 campaign, the Colorado Rockies fanbase wasn’t all too familiar with the name Tony Wolters. Heck, I’m not even going to lie to you, I had never heard his name despite all of the time spent invested in reading about prospects from different teams. The rookie has made his name known over the last few months with his excellent receiving skills behind the plate, not to mention he has been red-hot with the bat.
Wolters, 24, was a third-round pick in the 2010 draft by the Cleveland Indians, who began his career as a middle infielder.
