They start with the managerial search and confirm what we already knew, Bridich isn’t letting any news out about the search. Both of the candidates that Saunders has confirmed to be interested in the job, Bud Black and Ron Roenicke, don’t seem to be fits for what the Rockies are looking for.
While I don’t think the Rockies need to land an elite closer this offseason, landing another elite bullpen arm to pair up with Adam Ottavino would help this team in multiple ways.
