David Dahl‘s first day in the majors was like many before him, a restless night, a crazy day of travel and the proud moment of hearing your name announced in front of thousands of fans. The Colorado Rockies top outfield prospect received the news he’s been waiting to hear for 20-plus years when Albuquerque Isotopes Manger Glenallen Hill relayed the information to Dahl prior to the Triple-A game Sunday.
“Really tired, I didn’t sleep at all last night,” Dahl told reporters after his debut. ” I was at the airport at 3:30 morning.
