Jorge De La Rosa Will Miss Tonight’s Start For The Colorado Rockies

Chris Rusin has been called up from AAA Albuquerque and will start Tuesday night in Jorge De La Rosa’s place for the Colorado Rockies.

Jorge De La Rosa will miss his scheduled start Tuesday night in Cincinnati, and AAA Albuquerque starter Chris Rusin has been recalled by the Colorado Rockies to make the start in his place.

De La Rosa, who has already missed time with a groin injury earlier this season, will now miss Tuesday night’s game with a cut on his hand.

Apparently, though, he will miss landing on the disabled list, according to the Denver Post:

The cut, on De La Rosa’s left middle finger, showed up before his last start, a four-plus inning outing that resulted in a no-decision.
