DENVER (AP) -- Aaron Hill tied a career high with four RBIs, including a three-run homer, and Ender Inciarte made two catches against the outfield wall to help the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the reeling Colorado Rockies 13-7 in a doubleheader opener Wednesday.
Rain postponed the first two games of the series, and another storm was expected later. When not getting washed out, the Rockies have been outscored 60-24 in losing six straight.
Josh Collmenter (3-3) gave up five runs in seven innings, including three homers.
Tyler Matzek (2-1) allowed four runs in two innings and matched a career high with six walks in his first start since leaving an April 27 outing at Arizona with a hamstring cramp.
