Sounds like the Colorado Rapids are close to signing 35-year old LA Galaxy forward Alan Gordon. The Denver Post reported that a source confirmed that the Rapids are close to inking a deal with the free agent.
Alan Gordon has been in the league for 13 years, initially drafted in 2004. He spent 2005-2010 and then 2014-2016 with the LA Galaxy, which included two MLS Cup wins. In the 2016 season, he had three goals and an assist (7 starts, 22 games played total).
So here’s the question... is he what the Rapids need?
