Former University of Colorado basketball standout Andre Roberson was named to the 2016-17 NBA All-Defensive Second Team, the league announced on Monday.
Roberson, a fourth-year pro for the Oklahoma City Thunder, received three first team and 47 second team votes to finish eighth overall in the polling. He's joined on the second team by Tony Allen of Memphis, Danny Green of San Antonio, Anthony Davis of New Orleans and Giannis Antetokounmpo of Milwaukee.
Recognized for his disruptive play in opposing back courts, Roberson started 79 games for the Thunder this past season averaging 5.1 rebounds, 1.2 steals and one block an outing.
