The Colorado women's tennis team had a strong day of play recording five wins in singles and five wins in doubles, during the second day of the IU Winter Invitational here at the IU Tennis Center.
Overall the Buffs went 5-3 in doubles and 5-3 in singles during their solid second day.
In the first draw of doubles the pairing of junior Jeannez Daniel and senior Nuria Ormeno Ruiz, who defeated the Marquette pair of Silvia Ambrosio and Fleur Eggink, produced CU's first win after they took the match 8-6.
Junior Kyra Wojcik was once again paired with sophomore Ilana Oleynik and much like the previous day they produced a win defeating Marquette's Courtney Hebard and Lesley Foe 8-2.
